The emperor described a brilliant glowing orb in the sky with a great number of other glowing orbs drawing near the larger one, almost as if they were being pulled in. Theodosius claimed the spectacle to be like a swarm of bees flying around a beekeeper until they blended together into one, becoming as bright to the eye as a double-edged sword.
