Evanna Lynch
Evanna Lynch played the socially awkward Luna Lovegood, nicknamed Looney Luna.
Lynch is not only an actress, but she is also an activist and advocate. She works to promote body positivism and self-esteem.
Harry Melling
Many will remember Harry Melling as Dudley Dursley, the nasty, spoiled cousin of Harry Potter.
Since the films, Melling has lost a considerable amount of weight and is still acting.
In 2018, he played a role in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
Jamie Waylett
Jamie Waylett played Vincent Crabbe, a pure-blood wizard from the House of Slytherin. He was one of Draco Malfoy’s henchmen.

Joshua Herdman played Gregory Goyle, another one of Draco Malfoy’s lackeys.

Freddie Stroma
Freddie Stroma played Connor McLaggen, a wizard and Quidditch player who helps Harry defend Hogwarts against the Dark Lord Voldemort.
Stroma continues to act. He’s appeared in a few television shows. He also starred as H.G. Wells in the short-run television series Time After Time.
Kenneth Branagh
Kenneth Branagh probably needs no introduction. He’s been acting and directing films and theatre long before Harry Potter picked up a wand.
Potter fans will remember him as the arrogant but inadequate professor Gilderoy Lockhart.
As of recent, you can see Branagh playing Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot in the 2017 film adaptation, Murder on the Orient Express.

Robbie Coltrane is another veteran actor in both drama and comedy. Since the film series ended, Coltrane has kept busy.

Fiona Shaw played the mean aunt of Harry Potter.

Robert Pattinson
Before he played vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, Robert Pattinson played Gryffindor wizard Cedric Gregory.
Since Harry Potter, Pattinson has become a leading man in numerous movies.
He is due to star as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Batman movie.
Matthew Lewis
Matthew Lewis is best known as playing the ultra-nervous wizard, Neville Longbottom.

Alan Rickman
Alan Rickman played the mysterious wizard, Severus Snape.
Rickman was known for playing snobs and villains throughout his career.
Sadly, Rickman passed away in 2016, at the age of 69, from pancreatic cancer.
Jason Issacs
Jason Issacs played the evil wizard and father to Draco Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy.
Issacs is a versatile actor playing such roles as an Irish mobster in the Showtime series Brotherhood and a sadistic general in The Patriot. He can now be seen on Netflix in the sci-fi drama, The OA.
Imelda Staunton
You couldn’t help but hate her character in the Harry Potter films. Imelda Staunton played Dolores Uxbridge with such conviction.
You may wonder if Staunton had some haters in real life. Today, Staunton acts in the popular series Downton Abbey.
Helena Bonham Carter
You had probably already seen Helena Bonham Carter in the movie Fight Club. You might have also seen her in numerous Tim Burton movies.
In Harry Potter, she played the evil Bellatrix Lestrange.
Carter still continues her acting career. She is set to play Princess Margaret in the next two seasons of TV series The Crown.
