Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame now holds the position as the second highest-earning film in the all-time domestic box office. So, which movie takes the top spot? Let’s compare how this exceptionally popular film measures up against the other box office titans.

Everyone expected the movie to be a hit, but no one knew it would become the box office monster it is now. Avengers: Endgame made its debut on May 4, 2019, and it hasn’t slowed down. Less than a month at the theaters and the film’s domestic box office total is at a staggering $780 million. That figure means Avengers: Endgame has passed Avatar at the box office.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens still holds the title of highest-grossing film ever at the domestic box office. The film earned a mindblowing $936.6 million!

Internationally, the Marvel action-thriller is now the second-highest grossing movie of all time earning $2.56 billion. Not surprisingly, it passed James Cameron’s Titanic but is still behind Avatar. The alien action-adventure movie grossed an eye-popping $2.78 billion!

However, that may change because Avengers: Endgame is only trailing Avatar by $224 million!
