In case you don’t know anything about Taylor beyond her latest single, here are 25 Super Cool Facts About Taylor Swift You’ll Want To Know.
Taylor Swift's favorite food is Cheesecake. (My favorite food is also Cheesecake. Future BFF's confirmed.)
She has a large fish tank in her living room. Filled with vintage baseballs. Not sure what to say about that. Artists are quirky. Taylor Swift is an artist who's also, undoubtedly, America's Sweetheart.
Taylor Swift was named after Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame member James Taylor.

In addition to baseballs and supermodel digs, Taylor's home also contains a rack of white nightgowns. She plays dress up in them when her pal Lena Dunham comes over. According to Taylor, "We wear them during the day and look like pioneer women, fresh off the Oregon Trail." Those Pioneer Women, always with the nightgowns whilst traveling out to tame the West..yep...
Taylor has one sibling. Her brother, Austin Swift, is 25.
Taylor has been linked to as many as 16 famous men, depending on who you ask, since 2009. Either she's a little boy crazy (no judgement!) or the media just jumps on it every time she goes on a coffee date with a guy or says he has nice hair.
Her transition from Country to Pop was purposeful. In 2014, she told a magazine that she was distancing herself from country and wouldn't be going to country award shows or promoting her music on country radio stations.
There's beef between Taylor and Katy Perry. Was it about backup dancers? That they both dated John Mayer? Perry claims it's the backup dancers thing while stating that Swift started the whole thing. She also claims it's over and she wants the best for Taylor. Then she released a single called "swish swish," which is arguably a diss track aimed at Taylor. Okay. "Swish Swish," by the way, not nearly as good as "Bad Blood."

When Taylor won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2010 for "Fearless," she was the youngest artist to ever win a Grammy in that category. She was 20 years old.

In June of 2015, Taylor took on Apple. She wrote them an open letter regarding royalties to artists during the 3-month trial period of Apple Music after withholding her album 1989 from the streaming service. She made it very clear that the letter regarding royalties was not about her, but rather, "This is about the new artist or band that has just released their first single and will not be paid for its success." Apple responded a day later saying they would pay artists royalties during the trial period.
Speaking of that Apple letter, Taylor posted it on her Tumblr, which she runs by herself. When she's active on it, it's Taylor, herself, interacting with her fans.

Taylor didn't tell anyone who she was voting for in 2016. In a vicious election cycle where EVERYONE had an opinion, and celebrities were jumping at the chance to tell us who to vote for and how to think, Taylor respectfully stayed out of the fray. She tastefully posted a photo of herself in front of her polling location on Election morning, encouraging others simply to get out and vote.
