Airplane Graveyard

Officially named the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), this is the world’s largest airplane boneyard and is found in Tuscon, Arizona. It’s typical inventory holds roughly 4,400 aircrafts which include F-16s, F-4 Phantom IIs, and B-52 Stratofortress bombers. If you’re a fan of aviation history, this would be the place to be.

Lion Point

It’s amazing what someone can do with a lawnmower. Located in Dunstable in the United Kingdom, this mowed plot of land is called The Lion Point and is very close to the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

Huge Bunny

A massive bunny sculpture was once visible from space, but now it’s mostly gone. It was located in Italy and had been a 200-foot sculpture knitted by a Viennese art collective called Gelitin.

Giant Swimming Pool

A giant swimming pool was found off a river in Berlin, Germany. It’s called Badeschiff and is accessible to the public for various activities like beach parties, yoga, and stand up paddling.

Desert Pattern

Called “Desert Breath,” this beautiful and mysterious circle can be found in Egypt. First built in 1997, the creators placed 89 matching cones and depressions in the sand and expected it to erode over time.
