PARIS — Rick Owens, the iconic fashion designer known for his gothic aesthetic and avant-garde runway shows, has officially launched an OnlyFans account — and it’s centered around feet pics.

The surprise announcement came during the opening night of Owens’ retrospective exhibition “Temple of Love” at the Palais Galliera in Paris last week, following his Spring/Summer 2026 show of the same name. Amid archival garments, decades-old mood boards, and even a life-sized sculpture of Owens mid-urination, the designer revealed his latest creative pivot.

“If the Countess of Castiglione could do it, why not me?” Owens reportedly said at the event.

According to Owens, the idea was inspired by the 19th-century Italian aristocrat Virginia Oldoini, also known as the Countess of Castiglione. Toward the end of her life, after years of being photographed, she allegedly opted to only have her feet captured on camera. Owens now channels that same energy into his new subscription-based venture.

The OnlyFans account is currently live, with a $5 monthly subscription, and was first teased via Owens’ Instagram Story. The launch is not just another headline-grabbing move — it’s also a fundraising initiative.

All revenue from Owens’ OnlyFans will benefit the Allanah Foundation, an organization founded by trans activist Allanah Starr. The foundation offers scholarships, mentorship, and support to emerging artists, particularly those from marginalized communities.

Supporters of both Owens and the Allanah Foundation were quick to applaud the unexpected campaign. Within hours of the launch, fans were flooding the platform to subscribe.

“Rick is always five steps ahead,” one fan commented. “Now he’s doing it with bare feet.”

Owens has not yet confirmed how frequently he will post on the platform or what exactly subscribers can expect beyond foot-centric content. Still, the move fits within the designer’s long-standing tradition of defying expectations and blurring the line between fashion, performance art, and social commentary.
