Jessie Cave, best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series, has revealed that some pushy requests from fans on her OnlyFans account left her feeling “swayed and pressured.” The 38-year-old actress joined the subscription-based platform earlier this year, stating that the move was to help her “get out of debt” and fund renovations on her home.
Initially, Cave assured followers that her OnlyFans page would not include nudity or explicit material. Instead, she said it would focus on a very niche interest: hair-based fetish content.
“This is entirely for hair-based content. It’s very much geared towards people who have an interest or fetish with hair,” she said on her Before We Break Up Again podcast. “Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual… I’m not putting my boobs out.”
However, Jessie Cave admitted the nature of some messages she’s received on the platform has veered sharply from her intended boundary. “No matter how many times I say I am not doing sexual content, I get a message within two seconds asking to see c*m in my hair or if I would just please f**king consider full frontal,” she shared candidly.

Despite being firm on not going nude, the actress confessed she had been influenced by a particular request to “spank herself with her plaits.” She even tried to fulfill it by filming a playful video with her partner, comedian Alfie Brown, but ended up laughing too much to finish.
“I plaited my hair in red lace gloves and did a video of me trying to do plaits with handcuffs on,” she wrote in a Substack post. “My kids got the handcuffs at a magic shop.”
Cave has continued to emphasize that her account is not intended for sexual content, describing the experience as “liberating and empowering” after years of playing “very straight, prim” roles. She plans to use the income to pay off debts and fix up her house, starting with a much-needed new roof.
Though OnlyFans is largely associated with adult content, many creators use the platform for niche or artistic expression. Cave’s experience highlights the ongoing challenge creators face in maintaining boundaries in a space where user expectations often blur the line.
