It may be hard to believe that the baby faced star is a grandfather, but it’s true. He became one at the ripe young age of 47.

At the age of 14, Steve had a son named Dale. At 14, Dale also had a child. When the media got hold of the situation, it turned into an unwelcome circus for the family who tried their best to shrink from the spotlight.

At age 44, the The Real Housewives of Atlanta star became a grandmother. Not surprisingly though, she insisted on being called Glam-ma.

A 29-year-old Welsh man’s 14-year-old daughter had a baby, making him one of Britain’s youngest grandparents. He was accused of trying to cash in on the story though, when it came out that he had received a hefty paycheck by at least one media outlet for its sensationalism. All identities were legally required to be kept private due to laws protecting minors.

Like many of the others on this list, the digger driver from Warwickshire, UK had a son when he was 14. His son also had a child when he was 14, making Dale the UK’s youngest grandparent for a brief time back in 1997.

Although its veracity has never been confirmed, Mum-Zi was born on the island of Calabar in Nigeria. In 1884, she became a mother at the age of 8. Her daughter then gave birth at the age of 9, which made Mum-Zi a grandmother at the age of 17!

In March 2015, there was an article in Belfast Telegraph about a 29-year-old woman whose 15-year-old daughter was giving birth. Identities, however, weren’t revealed. Whoever the grandmother was though, at least for a moment, she was the youngest grandmother in the UK.

26-year-old German man Nikola Kostic became one of the world’s youngest grandparent when his 13-year-old son also had a son. The family made headlines once again when Nikola and his wife became some of the world’s youngest great-grandparents in their mid 40’s!
