Everyone has a list of relationship deal breakers. From infidelity to criminal activity, there’s plenty of legitimate reasons to break up with someone. You say “to-mato” and we say, “tah-mato.” In this case, a guy decided to break up with his girlfriend over her annoying voice and placing the emphasis at a weird part of a sentence.
A girl on Reddit explained that even though he was nice, she broke up with her boyfriend because he couldn’t spell and didn’t think grammar was necessary. Grammar is important so we slightly empathize with this reason.
After getting into a fight over green tea, one Redditor explained she broke up with her boyfriend because he claimed the antioxidant-rich beverage was bad for her.

Even vegetables can be a deal breaker. For one Redditor, his girlfriend would sit up in bed and smear cheese all over her celery and munched away. As he said, “She had to go.”
At some point, you have to question if you have OCD due to the dumb reasons you give for breaking up with people. In this case, a girl broke up with her boyfriend because he would sigh frequently when he didn’t know what to say. He also blinked slowly.
People frequently mispronounce words especially when they believe they’re saying the right thing. One guy couldn’t take it anymore when his girlfriend kept saying, “Supposibly.”
Harry Potter fans can be rather strict about their beloved wizarding world and the things you can and can’t do. One guy experienced that first hand when his girlfriend refused to say “Voldemort” and would get mad at him for saying it.

Rhyming has its time and place, especially when used sparingly. One Redditor, however, had a girlfriend that frequently said, “Awesome possum!”, “Neato squito!”, and “Coolio hoolio!” After she said it a couple of dozen times a day for a month, he couldn’t take it anymore.
