Archer is the servant of Rin Tohsaka in the Fate/stay night visual novel and anime. Archer’s true identity is Shirou Emiya, who at the time of his summoning had lost all memories of his past due to trauma.
This lack of memories causes him to have a personality very different from his normal self. He becomes cold, ruthless, and cynical.
