Maybe a special collector’s item of some sort? In today’s age, toys come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and sometimes the price tags on these recreational items can be quite alarming. Take a PlayStation 4 for example. This popular game console will cost you around 400 dollars, and lets not even talk about the games. Though this price tag may indeed be a bit alarming, it’s nothing compared to the price tag the toys on our list carry. Do you remember playing with an Etch-a-Sketch? When introduced back in 1960, these mechanical drawing toys were sold for $3 each. In 2003, FAO Schwarz came up with a special limited edition Etch-a-Sketch, studded with 14,400 hand-set red Swarovski crystals. Twelve of these limited editions were made and each was sold for $1,500.
