If you take a closer look at this seemingly ordinary photo, you will notice a very bizarre thing. Yes, it's a car dangling several floors above the ground. How could something like this happen? The driver´s foot got stuck on the accelerator as he was backing up from an elevated garage, and the car smashed through the external wall of the building. Luckily for the driver, the car ended up just with its boot poking out into air.

This otherworldly looking picture is a photo of Dubai´s skyscrapers piercing through morning fog. Captured by photographer Daniel Cheong, the picture was taken from the 99th floor of Burj Khalifa, the world´s highest building.

No, it is not a sci-fi movie alien trying to break into a garbage can. It is a coconut crab, the largest land-living arthropod in the world. Sometimes also known as the robber crab (for obvious reasons), this crustacean can weigh in at over 4 kg (9 lbs).

Not even this picture was cut out from an apocalyptic movie. This photo was taken in Novosibirsk, which is also in Russia, in July 2014, after the sunbathers were caught by surprise when a sudden storm dropping hail stones the size of golf balls poured into the area.
