Born Ermias Asghedom on August 15, 1985, Nipsey Hussle was an American rapper and songwriter. He emerged from the West Coast hip hop scene in the mid-2000s and first became famous for his mixtapes.



Hussle was Eritrean (a country in the horn of Africa) American. He was also a member of the Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips gang in his teenage years.




Hussle was the father of two children, a son, Kross, with actress Lauren London, and his daughter Emani from a prior relationship.




Hussle and his partner Lauren London have been together for five years, only recently going public with details on their relationship.

Hussle had a short acting career, appearing in two films, I Tried and Caged Animal, and the pilot of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
