However, not all gangsters, robbers, murderers, terrorists, and other villains are imprisoned or dead. There are still many terrifying criminals who are on the loose.

Yaser Abdel Said

An Egyptian resident of the US, Yaser Abdel Said is wanted for his involvement in the murders of his two teenage daughters, Samina and Sarah. The girls died of multiple gunshot wounds on January 1, 2008, in Irving, Texas. Said, who has evaded police capture since then, has been named to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Beer Man

The Beer Man is a nickname given to a suspected serial killer who murdered at least six people in Mumbai, India, between October 2006 and January 2007. The nickname was gained due to beer bottles left beside each body, which was the only link between the deaths. Mumbai police have investigated hundreds of people; the murderer still has not been captured.

Honolulu Strangler

Also known as the Honolulu Rapist, the The Honolulu Strangler is a serial killer responsible for the death of at least five women in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1985 and 1986. The killer murdered all of his victims (who were from all walks of life) through strangulation and left them bound with their hands behind their backs. The Honolulu Strangler has never been captured and might be still alive.

Ismael Zambada Garcia

The leader of the feared and brutal Mexican Sinaloa Cartel, Ismael Zambada Garcia is one the biggest drug dealers in the world today. Nicknamed “El Mayo,” Zambada is a legendary figure in the Mexican underworld, who has reputedly never spent a day in prison. His cartel is known to traffic a wide range of narcotics such as heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine.

Stoneman

The Stoneman is India’s most notorious serial killer. He is believed to have committed 13 murders in Calcutta and a possible a dozen more in Mumbai. The Stoneman targeted mainly homeless people. He killed them by bashing them over their heads with a stone. The police have brought in a number of suspects but have not been able to charge anyone with the murders.

Frankford Slasher

Between 1985 and 1990, at least eight people were stabbed to death in Frankford, Philadelphia by a serial killer known as the Frankford Slasher. A local man named Leonard Christopher became a suspect in one of the murders; he was later jailed for it, but some of the victims were discovered after Christopher was put behind bars, which means the Frankford Slasher is still on the loose.

Luis Macedo

One of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, Luis Macedo is wanted for his alleged involvement in the death of a 15-year-old boy in Chicago, Illinois, on May 1, 2009. The victim was brutally beaten, shot, and set on fire by several alleged Latin Kings street gang members. Apparently, the teen refused to show a gang sign. Macedo allegedly initiated the attack.

Victor Wolf

Victor Wolf and his wife Natalia Wolf are wanted for their alleged involvement in a massive real estate-related fraud scheme. From 2004 through 2006, the Wolfs established about two dozen Florida corporations to conduct the fraudulent investment scheme. There are at least 100 known victims of the scheme who have lost in excess of $20 million.

Colonial Parkway Killer

The Colonial Parkway Killer is a name given to a serial killer who is believed to have murdered at least eight people along the Colonial Parkway of the U.S. Commonwealth of Virginia between 1986 and 1989. There were no obvious motives, no signs of robbery or rape or even much resistance. The FBI, state, and local police devoted thousands of hours to the cases, but no one has ever been arrested.

Long Island Killer

The Long Island Killer is an unidentified suspected serial killer who is believed to have murdered 10 to 17 people and dumped their bodies along the Ocean Parkway on Long Island, New York. The remains of four separate victims, all of whom were sex workers advertising on Craigslist, were found in 2010. Additional victims were found in 2011, not too far from the others.

Robert William Fisher

Robert William Fisher is an American fugitive wanted for the murder of his wife and two children. He also blew up their house in which the family lived in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 10, 2001. Fisher is believed to be in possession of several weapons, including a high-powered rifle and should be considered extremely dangerous, according to FBI.

Wayne Arthur Silsbee

A former school bus driver, Wayne Arthur Silsbee is a child molester wanted for his alleged involvement in multiple incidents of sexual assault. These incidents involved several female victims who were between the ages of eight and ten at the time of the offenses. These assaults occurred between September of 1995 and April of 1996, in Clackamas County, Oregon.

Andre Neverson

Wanted for a double murder, Andre Neverson has been on the run for 15 years. After killing his sister and a former girlfriend, Neverson might have fled the US and may now be residing in Barbados or another Caribbean island. Known to always carry a firearm with him, he has a very violent criminal history with a pronounced pattern of violence toward women.

February 9 Killer

The February 9 Killer is a unidentified serial killer who is believed to be responsible for the 2006 murder of Sonia Mejia and her unborn child, and the 2008 murder of Damiana Castillo in Salt Lake City, Utah. Both of these women were strangled in their apartments and both of these murders were committed on February 9th, hence the killer’s name. Since 2011, the case has been classified as a cold case.

Alexis Flores

Born in 1975, Alexis Flores is a Honduran fugitive wanted for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder of a five-year-old girl in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The girl was reported missing in late July of 2000, and later found strangled to death in a nearby apartment in early August of 2000.

Bradford Bishop

Born in 1936, Bradford Bishop is a former US Foreign Service officer who is now one of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. A Yale University and Middlebury College graduate, Bishop is wanted for allegedly bludgeoning to death his wife, mother, and three sons in Bethesda, Maryland in 1976. He then allegedly transported their bodies to Columbia, North Carolina, where he buried them in a shallow grave and lit them on fire.

Victor Gerena

Victor Gerena is an American fugitive wanted in connection with the armed robbery of approximately $7 million from a security company in West Hartford, Connecticut. This is one of the largest cash robberies in the US history. Gerena took two security guards hostage at gunpoint, then handcuffed them and injected them with a mysterious substance that disabled them.

Babysitter Killer

Also known as the Oakland County Child Killer, the Babysitter Killer is believed to have murdered at least four children in 1976 and 1977 in Oakland County, Michigan. After the murders, the killer dressed the victims in their freshly pressed clothing and left them positioned in full sight next to a road. The case resulted in one of the largest murder investigations in US history as over 18,000 tips came into the task force. Unfortunately, the investigation failed to produce a suspect.

Known by many aliases such as Abu Muhammad, Abu Fatima, or The Doctor, Ayman al-Zawahiri is one of current leaders of al-Qaeda. He’s also been involved as a senior official of several other Islamist organizations. These organizations have orchestrated and carried out terrorist attacks in many parts of the world. Formerly a physician, this Egyptian fugitive is one of the most wanted terrorists in the world.

Zodiac Killer

One of the most infamous serial killers of all time, the Zodiac Killer was active in Northern California in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, when he killed at least five people. The killer would routinely send newspapers letters that taunted police and cryptograms that were so complicated that some have still not been solved. In the letters, he claimed that he killed 37 people. Despite decades of massive investigation, the Zodiac Killer has never been identified, and he might be still alive.

University-educated, Mogilevich is wanted by the FBI for money laundering, conspiracy, and fraud. While there are multiple warrants against him, he is reportedly enjoying a free life in Moscow.

Samantha Lewthwaite

Also known as the White Widow, Samantha Lewthwaite is one of the world’s most wanted terrorism suspects. A graduate of London University, this British woman is responsible for the deaths of at least 400 people, including the 2015 slaughter of 148 people at a university in Kenya. Lewthwaite, who is now considered one the leaders of the terrorist organization al-Shabaab, is thought to have changed her appearance through weight loss and plastic surgery.

The leader of Colombia’s largest and most feared cartel, the Urabeños, Usuga is one of the world’s most wanted drug lords. The US government offers a reward of $5 million for information leading to his capture. Alongside producing and moving cocaine, Usuga’s organization also runs extortion rackets and is involved in human trafficking.

Also known as Tablas, Eduardo Ravelo is wanted for his alleged involvement in the Barrio Azteca transnational gang and their money-laundering, racketeering, and drug-related activities in El Paso, Texas. Additionally, he is wanted for numerous murders in Juarez, Mexico. Considered extremely dangerous by the FBI, Ravelo may have had plastic surgery and even altered his fingerprints.
