Is what you see what you really get? Don’t be fooled, not everything is as it seems. Our senses have limitations and can be bent and twisted. This is especially true of our sense of sight. Pictures can mess with our perspective, making us see one thing over the other or causing immovable objects to move, messing with our head. Here are 25 Crazy Optical Illusions That Will Blow Your Mind.
Is it a chalice or two human faces?
While some people only see one object over the other, trying to focus on one is an all around struggle in and of itself.
Move the image back and forth.
Looking too long at this one might induce horrible headaches. Stare responsibly.
Wavy Shapes
While it might look like the shapes are crooked and in every direction, all of the edges are perfectly straight, vertical, horizontal, or at a 45-degree angle.
Moving Circles
Stare long enough and it’ll look like the circles are moving.
Crooked Red Lines
The red lines look crooked but then they don’t. Stop messing with our heads!
Black Tops, Black Bottoms
We’re pretty sure the black is on top of several pillars…wait.
Optical Fork
This one is similar to the one we showed a little earlier except now there’s a bizarre, optical fork to throw us off even more.
Yellow Lines
Believe it or not, those yellow lines are the exact same length.
Moving Circles
Stare at the black dot and move your head back and forth. It’ll look like the circles are moving.
Moving Squiggles
This psychedelic picture might look like part of it is moving in the periphery of your eye.
Grey Bar
While it might seem like the grey bar in the middle changes shade, it’s actually the same shade throughout. The only shade that changes is in the background.
Black Shades
We’re thinking the point of this one is to make us sick to our stomachs.
Wavy Leaves
No, that’s not a GIF. Stare straight in the middle and the wavy leaves should slow down or stop moving entirely.

It took us a while to figure this one out but after a second it finally clicked. Can you see the cow?
Sinking Floor
It might look like the floor is sinking in the middle, but all the squares are the same shape. The dots create the illusion.

Dark Spots
This optical illusion looks like black spots appear at the intersections of the white lines.
Green Vortex
Whoa. It’s like we’re spinning into the quantum zone with Doctor Strange. This optical illusion should look like the vortex is moving.
Spinning Circles
Here’s a different and totally mind-bending variation of moving circles.
Poggendorf Illusion
The key to the Poggendorf Illusion is the position of the black line. Looking at the left picture, it looks like the black line has shifted a little, but according to the right picture, that isn’t the case.
Blue Flowers
Stare long enough at these blue flowers and a few should spin and move.
Orbison Illusion
In the Orbison Illusion, the red diamond over the radial lines should look distorted.

The further you move back from this optical illusion, the more you’ll be able to see within the picture.
Zollner Illusion
In the Zollner Illusion, the diagonal lines are parallel even if they don’t look that way.
