It turns out the United States is home to some outrageous laws. From Alabama to Wyoming, every state has at least one law that will make you shake your head in dismay. No matter where you live, you should probably check out these 25 ridiculous state laws. You may have broken the law and not even know it!

It is against the law to paint a sparrow with the intent of selling it as a parakeet.

A tavern owner may not brew beer without brewing a kettle of soup simultaneously.
