Those who remember the old TV show Columbo, starring Peter Falk, will enjoy this story.
About twenty years ago, the producers of the TV show Columbo approached the town of Athol, Massachusetts about shooting an episode in the community.
The Board of Selectmen had to vote on issuing the TV production crew a film permit. The Board denied the permit.
Their reason: They didn’t want a Falk in Athol!
